It’s cold outside.
I want to hide in my warm kitchen and bake cookies.
Unfortunately, warm cookies aren’t good for the waistline.
Especially if warm cookies are eaten 5 times a day.
Unfortunately, this time of year it’s too cold to play tennis or golf.
Why doesn’t dozing next to a warm fire improve your cardio?
If it did, I’d be ready to run a marathon come Spring time.
Exercise just doesn’t have the same comforting affect as warm apple pie.
Or moist turkey. Savory stuffing. Corn casserole. You get the idea.
Have no fear. I discovered a way to stay fit.
I pick up the fallen leaves.
I don’t use a rake, because that’s too easy.
I pick each leaf up by hand and carry it over to the leaf pile.
This is hard work, especially if the wind is blowing.
When I’m done, I look like this:
My hairstyle is completely ruined, but look at my slender physique.
So, if you’re looking for a way to stay fit during Thanksgiving, try my technique.
Admittedly, it takes a lot of time to pick up leaves one by one.
You might even miss the Thanksgiving meal,
but you’ll be in great shape!
